Welcome to our Spring 2010 Course. Feel free to comment on general topics or ideas discussed in our course. There will be a required blog for each chapter/module in our course. Everyone is required to post a response to each chapter prompt. I hope you enjoy the semester.

Chapter 1

Chapter 1 discusses the relationship between Curriculum and Instruction. In your teaching how do you approach the similarities or differences between Curriculum and Instruction?

What axiom that applies to the field of curriculum do yo feel your school/school division needs to work the most on improving? Why?

Which level of curriculum planning do you feel has the most influence over the curriculum taught in your class?

Chapter 4

Chapter 4 discusses what skills and knowledge about group process are essential to the job of a curriculum leader. The text offers four sets or clusters of group process skills; The Change Process, Interpersonal Relations, Leadership Skills, and Communication Skills. Read over these four group process skills and briefly describe which skill you feel would be the most important for you to further develop within yourself and why?
